2021 Shelter HVAC Fundraiser

Our Shelter needs a new HVAC system

We need your help to bringing fresh air and virus-killing technology to our Shelter.

The services and shelter provided by Empowerhouse have been especially important during the past year, when many were forced to quarantine with their children in an abusive home or seeking shelter.

While serving the needs of the families in our shelter, we identified a large project vital to everyone’s continued health and safety. This year COVID-19 virus has showed us the importance of well-ventilated spaces. That applies to our 40-bed shelter. To address that need we’re replacing the aging heating and AC (HVAC) system at our shelter with a new more efficient system that incorporates virus killing technology.

The cost of replacing 5 big units of heating and air conditioning equipment is a significant expense but it will make a huge difference in the lives of the women and children safely housed at our shelter. Please consider a gift today to help mothers who are survivors of domestic violence, and their children rebuild their lives, renew their spirts and realize a more hopeful future.
