Thank you to everyone who braved a chilly day and warmed our hearts at LibertyTown Arts Workshop’s wonderful outdoor space where we celebrated our 23rd Empty Bowl event and the talented potters who create and donate the fabulous bowls. Even with the ongoing pandemic, Empty Bowl 2022 was a big success thanks to so many people who joined together to support Empowerhouse and survivors of domestic violence. During a time of continued, heightened need for survivors and their children, you make such a positive, life-changing difference to these vulnerable community members as they heal and move forward.
We are grateful to LibertyTown for providing a great venue where we could safely gather in a masked, socially distanced way while enjoying each other’s company and marveling at the gorgeous bowls made by our local artists. We are so moved by the tremendous response from our caring community, our generous sponsors, and ticketholders, the incredible potters, the creative design work by Higashi Glaser, and our dedicated and hardworking Empty Bowl Committee and volunteers. You made this event possible!
1 in 4 women are victims of domestic violence. It touches every community. Our compassionate and amazing community continues to show up and step up to help our neighbors in crisis. On behalf of the survivors we serve, please know how much we appreciate your support of Empowerhouse and our mission.
